Format
An proper research proposal should include the following sections:
- Provisional Title
- Supervisor & co-supervisor
- Personal infomation (name, major, student ID, etc.)
- Purpose of research
- Aim of reserach
- Theory, methods & methodology
- Primary data discussion
- Secondary literature review
- Summary of chapters
- Expected conclusion and contribution
Word limits
This is no particular word limits for a research proposal. Students are encouraged to present a full-scale one as this will largely enhance the strength of the writing-up of their master dissertation. If students feel necessary to have a word limit, a 3,000-5,000-word one will be generally acceptable.
